"I looked at it more as they're about to go do battle with each other, and theyare getting ready to, you know, fight to th death. But by also showing her getting ready as well, it, i think, in a very micro way, is telling the audience, through this cross cutting, you are about to see a story play from three different perspectives," she said. "If you didn't know what this movie was about heading into it, i feel like that editing in the beginning there, dan tells the audience that, i think that isn't part of it, not's part of what makes it very smart editing."
