The Gaelic Population's Views on Crusading

Professor Susanna Lipscomb asks whether the Gaelic population are repulsed by Anglo-Norman crusading. She says they may have been aware of it, but there is an absence of their voice on the subject. This year marks the 400th anniversary of the publication of Shakespeare's First Folio. It would be hard to think of Shakespeare without plays like Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra.
