Dan Kent: I'm hanging on to my faith by a string these days. Many days I don't believe that God is even real. So how do I hold these two things at once? How do I not believe in God, but love Jesus so very much? Well, thank you anonymous for that question. It's a good one. What it tells me is that this person clearly has a different picture of God than they have of Jesus because they have trouble believing in God. But the whole point of the New Testament is that Jesus is the definitive final culminating revelation of who God is. And so get rid of any conception of God that is not anchored in the person of Jesus Christ.
