I would not recommend just using chat GPT for your medical needs at this point, but I would recommend it as a second opinion. There may be real potential there to use a system like a GPT-4 to help us really engage with each other more productively. It's also something that you could see orders of magnitude cost reduction in. If you're worried about AI safety near, middle, or long term, you can start to contribute to a really hopefully growing and robust set of LLM behavior standards.
