The Steel Inside of Eliot

I think deep down inside what makes this character so special is that despite all that inner trauma turmoil, how he copes with it is this steel inside of him. He has a little bit of hope not only for himself but for the world around him that keeps him pushing on and persevering. It's those people that I think you look at and say man how did they get through that and become  this person that we see now? And those are people we often look at as heroes. You know from the second I read this the first episode I brought that Sam's attention quite a bit. I go what? Keep Eliot on this planet.
