All of Anton's books during his lifetime, I believe were published by Avon. He wanted to enter the mainstream culture and to have reach. And so doing maybe he lost something, maybe he gained something, but he certainly opened up opportunities for lots of people whose outlook was shaken. There is a point where it becomes complicity with the enemy. But there's something to be said for promulgating radical ideas within the ecosystem.
