What's the Nature of War?

Punk music of the mid seventies was anti-militarism. The great bellfast punk band, their song tin soldier is an expression of that sort of antimilitaris oimin belfastisit. It's condemnatory, but it's also slightly sympathetic to soldiers who were policing and sometimes killing members of the republican catholic community. You'd really have a whole theory of, to some extent, a theory of human nature - which is quite obviously difficult.
