Why Satan Attacks Adam and Eve

Satan attacked Adam through God's best gift to him his wife. He was ultimately attacking God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit by making man as our image and likeness. Despite our fallen condition we've been made as the image of God - that's what Satan hated. We all understand that a child of love brings joy unless it reveals our own sinful hearts.
