The History of Ulysses S. Grant
Ulysses S. Grant hosted the first ever state dinner for a foreign dignitary, King Kalakawa of the Sandwich Islands which we now call Hawaii. Kayla created this amazing menu which no longer survives but we can infer that it was fabulous and had many courses. He used these dinners to bring people together broker deals.
