The Staples' Argument for the Salvation of All Israel
In Romans 11, 25 through 27, Paul explains that Israel will be saved through the in-gathering of the fullness of the Gentiles. The passage becomes quite clear once the phrase "play Roma" is recognized as an allusion to Genesis 48 where Jacob blesses Joseph's sons. Ephraim was the capital of the northern kingdom, the one with the mixed population. Even before Jesus comes, it's cluttered with gentiles. Look at what Paul's doing. A hardening has happened to part of Israel.
