Is This a Turning Point for the Social Media Companies?
The Institute for Strategic Dialogue have done some research for the panorama. There's been a huge spike in newly created accounts that immediately follow misogynistic and abusive channels on Twitter since the takeover. That's up 69% compared to before the takeover. And you went to San Francisco to go and chat to some of these people. Did you get a sense that kind of the tech world on the west coast of the USA is going through a big moment? Because we hear about all these big layoffs as they call them, not just from Twitter, but other famous companies as well.
