John chapter two says that christ wasn't just a races assoll. He was kind of a dick to his own mother, mary who was no longer a virgin. She only needed to be a virgin, apparently, for that first birth. Virgin was a mistranslation of the hebrew word alma, which just meant a young woman. It's possible she was a virgin in the new testament, but it's not required.
