People who rank off the charts in competence, they are often seen without warmth. They are often seen as cold, intimidating, hard to talk to. And most importantly, competence without warmth leaves people feeling suspicious. For highly warm folks, and highly warm folks have a very different set ofa personal and professional challenges. So my goal is to teach competent people to use enough warmth so people believe their competence.
