The Cost of Living Crisis

Canadians have saved over $400 billion since 2020. Is the idea because it was so pent up during the pandemic, like we're just ready to spend and kind of have these experiences that we couldn't for so long now? We are still seeing quite a lot of demand in restaurants, in travel, international travel. If you look at spending data for RBC or Toronto Dominion Bank clients, you can see that there is frankly a lot of exuberance out there.
