Travellyan's Corn, and Food Exports During the Famine

50 years ago, none of them would have known who trevellyan was. The whole issue of food exports we didn't discuss is a huge emotive issue for irish nationalists. Food continued to be exported from ireland in the early years of the famine. Historians wiull tell us that in the later years of famine, imports into the country far exceeded m exports other countries, other european countries stopped exports.
