The Importance of Bottoms Up in Strength Training

I feel like programs that do well with bottoms up don't need to deload as much. If you're just top down, it's almost like inevitably you will hit a wall and need itjust maybe mental but not need to. I think the more that you can integrate those bottom up elements, you can still train hard. It just means that the response is more appropriate. And I think also the way athletes perceive the load changes. Usually I don't really have to deload until you start to perceive that you're suckers.
