Yusra Mardini is an Olympic swimmer who competed in Rio 2016 and Tokyo as part of the refugee team. She narrowly missed being killed when a rocket-propelled grenade smashed through the roof of the sports centre where she was swimming. In 2015, Yusra and her sister embarked on the perilous journey to Germany to seek asylum.
