Student Monks and the Buddhist Eye
In your analysis you divide the international tourists into four groups, the Westerners, the Chinese, Muslims and missionaries. Can you tell the listener about the differences between these groups and the different kinds of interaction that the student monks have with each of these groups? Yeah, that was an interesting part of my research and that's in chapter three when I talk about the religious others and the Buddhist eye. Like I mentioned before, there's mainly Western tourists who are coming into the monk chat. And that's what I would observe and that's what they would say.
