Wildfires in Europe This Summer
This summer has seen very special conditions. So in many parts of europe we have seen an extended drought. And the strong heat waves, these very high temperatures going above forty degrees is very unusual for us. You only need a small spark, a small accident, maybe r a hot cow parked along the side of a road on dried grass, and that can cause fires. Because of the wind and because it's so hot, this fire, i increases rapidly within a few hours. It is really an exceptional situation.
