The Future of Information Collection

There's almost nothing that we could do now that in a hundred years time, people wouldn't instantly be able to work out what it is. Even now, you can grab your phone, take a photograph of something, post that in a search to Google and it'll tell you what it was. How much of a person... How much someone in the future will actually give a shit about the past? I wonder how much it would be like that where we feel today that there's not really anything interesting that we can instantly pull out and share with the future of the past.
