I Think the Definition of Insurrection Has to Be Carefully Observed
I don't know whether they count as insurrection, because there is no particular effort to overthrow the government of the united states. I feel the same way about the a trumfiasco of january of this past year. The word has residence in the fourteenth amendment where it allows congress not to see people who have been involved in the insurrection. And i think it's a stretch to say january sixth in the civil war cut from the same cloth. But jahn surely right. Present congressional consent, in many ways, is terrible.
