The 20 Year Project I Completed Prior to the Pandemic
In December, just before Christmas of 2019, I completed a 20 year project that I haven't really had a chance to promote it all. And I digitized the entire Canadian Camping Magazine archive from 1947 to 1992 by scanning it and having it optically character recognized in the end. This is an idea I had in 2000. My idea was way ahead of where easy technology was at the time. It's stored as a collection on the Internet Archive available to everyone. As someone who also went through outdoor recreation at Lakehead University as my degree, I would have loved to have access to 50, 60 years of Canadian Camping magazine.
