Data as the New Oil

Data is the life blood of modern economy in the same way that petro fuls have been. Data models are becoming so sophisticated, so complex, that companies cannot keep up with them. They don't even realize where the fragility lies. The world we're living in is shifting from an epoch of logic powered by imaginary numbers to one which requires this level of categorical algebra and formal methods.
