How to Make Weird Sounds With a Contact Mic
For all of you music con cret lovers, this is your device basically. You can probe the shaky worlds to your heart's content and find all manner of weirdities. I've got a little tenor guitar, it's only got four strings, it makes a really nice open tuning sound because it's really simple harmonically so I just start tapping it with the pickup on the top and this is what I've got. See that one came from me having a contact mic on the columba itself and letting it shake the contact mic and make it in turn of vibrations and generate noise essentially.
