Introduction
On this episode I'm talking to Professor Stuart Elton from the University of Warwick about Foucault, the birth of power. It was intended to be a single book, which was going to try to use the College de France lecture courses that Foucault gave annually between 1970 and his death in 1984. And I thought that these would be interesting to use to retell the story of Foucault's work in the last period of his career. But it was much longer than the contracted length of the book.
