The Importance of Mindfulness in Volunteer Management

I think there's lots you can do to start feeling better about yourself when you're at work. I found myself getting frustrated that I couldn't just make myself feel better by wanting to. And the things that I found really beneficial were coming back to my breathing. So anything we can do to lancin and slow the breathing is really helpful because it switches you into a different part of the autonomic nervous system called the parasympathetic nervous system. Also anytime you can come back into your physical body and be aware of the sensations of your body.
