The Bank of Canada Hits a Pause on Rate Hikes
The Bank of Canada hit a pause on its right hikes because the numbers have shown a clear cooling in the inflation rate since last summer. CIBC economist Avery Shenfield said trading and investments known as swaps, which bet on the central bank is going to do implied there is no other way for it to act.
