Are You Better Off Now Than You Are Four Years Ago?
The turn out for the elections of year five was pathetic. There wasn't a single election where turnout wasn't comically low. Of those who voted, the conservatives formed by far the greatest part. But none of this was enough to overcome the prevailing conservatism of the electorate. That's not exactly right. The prevailing attitude of the electorate was a combination of exhaustion and apathy. A hundred and 82 of the newly elected delegates are identifiably r list - zero could even be called left leaning.
