I feel like historically analysts have been serviced by products that you pay for. And so certainly, I want a lot of people to pay for DBT cloud but fundamentally in the open source version of this thing you can do everything you need. The best part of my job is when I get pull requests from people that have never made a pull request before. No abstraction is better than a bad abstraction. There are no rules for how to be a good maintainer. You just got to understand where people are coming from and also kind of keep your head above water.
