Deathville - Is There a Mortality Ratio?

Lily writes in to say, dear john and hank, it seems this comedy podcast about death has been lacking in the death department lately. Is there a statistical ratio where one out of blank people die every day? And could we apply that to a hypothetical town, like, say, deathville,. Would deathville have population blank? What is this blank number? How many people would live in deathville? I did some pre research on this question, john, because i i wasn't going totrust my ability to do math during the podcast.
