Bitching and Moaning
If I catch myself bitching about something too much, I immediately stop. You could even if you're not comfortable with using bitching and stuff, you might want to use a non vulgar alternative, like whining. Or maybe if you're learning British English, you could say stop your winching. So one way we might do this is if someone is complaining a lot, um, or someone is saying bad things, then you could say that that person's being bitchy.
