The first cat show was held at the Crystal Palace in London. The result was a success far beyond our most sanguine expectations. So much so that I have made it a labor of love of the feline race. Now that a cat club is formed, shows are more numerous and the entries increasing. Here is every reason to expect a permanent benefit, in every way, to cats.
