Netflix and the Mystery of the Numbers

Netflix famously will not release any numbers. There's two theories of this and I'm very, very fascinated by which these theories is true. The weird thing about the numbers here is that you need to know how many people are watching a thing in order to negotiate your next contract. If they don't want to make them public, well, can anybody see them? Can our agents see them? It's a really weird situation.
