The Joy of Being Received

Every baby comes into the world wanting, you know, looking for someone looking for him. Like to be seen by you and to be received by you is something that not only like fills my heart with joy, but it also allows my brain activity to be what we would call more integrated. And this whole notion of being known in the language of interpersonal neurobiology can be understood through this word called integration.
