The Horrors of Hiroshima
Out of 150 doctors in Hiroshima, 65 were killed in the initial blast instantly. Out of 1,780 nurses, 1,654 were dead or too badly injured to work. The largest hospital that wasn't completely destroyed was the Red Cross. There was only one doctor who came out of the initial blast unscathed.
