Aristotle and Archimedes in the History of Science
The History of Science Society publishes an annual bibliography of works in the history of science. Aristotle has 482 entries, compared to 42 for Archimedes. There's never been any entry on Archimedes in the bibliography. The way modern historical scholarship is set up plays right into Galileo's hands.
