Lactose is not an important probiotic, but I think to be completely fair and scientifically rigorous, it's easy to come from a plant-based perspective and to vilify lactose. It's the other stuff in dairy that's bad for you. So many times, people will vilify lact sugar as being this horrible thing. Lacto-legosaccharides are also probiotics. If you're doing time restricted eating, it's not really intermittent fasting because you're doing it as part of your lifestyle.
