Sergio's Dad Said No to the Spanish Scout
Sergio says a Spanish scout approached his father with an offer. You could let us take Sergio to Spain or you can come with him and we'll give you a stipend to live off. His dad said no to the Spaniard. He never told me and that was hurtful. We had strong arguments even now when the topic comes up sometimes. I still have that question in my mind. The wife who could have been if I had the resources. Like in Europe, I would have gotten better nutrition. I suffered so much playing in the youth leagues in Argentina. It was abusive. Anyone who has the opportunity to go abroad Should go abroad.
