The Degree Process Is Largely One of Head Skills, Rational Skills
The degree process is largely one of head, isn't it? Its bly theoretic and abstract. And i'm not convinced that this has been a good thing for all of us since we've seen the social effect of this. Is one half of the population always looking down on the other half because they're graduates - almost beneath contempt. I think it's time that we rolled back from this essentialism in applying these batteries of test to people as it's just boastering up a system based on no science whatever.
