It's banned one week since Elon Musk took over Twitter and Shurina Gafari is here from recode to tell us how it's going. It has been chaotic to say the least, with some employees working 12-hour shifts or sleeping in conference rooms just to see if they can keep their job. And we've already seen a surge in racial slurs since Elon did the deal - something that N word surged by 500% after he made the deal. We don't know for sure yet, but that would be in line with his plans at Twitter.
Twitter is about to suck for you. But it’s going to suck for self-proclaimed “Chief Twit” Elon Musk too. Recode’s Shirin Ghaffary and The Verge’s Nilay Patel explain.
This episode was produced by Amanda Lewellyn and Miles Bryan, edited by Matt Collette, fact-checked by Laura Bullard, engineered by Paul Robert Mounsey, and hosted by Sean Rameswaram.
