Scisophrenia
Scisophrenia runs in families. Growing up as the child of someone who has severe mental health issues and severe delusions makes you acutely aware at all times that everyone's reality is different, and sometimes in significant ways. I saw when i learned in undergrad that what this is and that it's heritable, i was absolutely terrified. It both gave me a construct which was helpful. So i could put him into a box. But unfortunaely, then the worry was that i would join him in that box. And so i am. This is worse because kis frenn's late onset.
