The Status of Unique in the Roman Context
I think that Jesus uses the static, the status of unique in the, in his culture as a kind of umbrella concept for giving yourself to the kingdom at the expense of pursuing your sort of sexual desires. So I think what's also not talked about is that like we have this false notion that sex is the highest form of the human experience. What does it say to single people within our body? Right. Are we saying that they're not able to experience the highest human experience? Yeah. Very true.
