This has been a big story in the last few weeks that China relaxed a number of restrictions and largely it's zero COVID strategy. It was the case that if somebody on your street or in your apartment complex tested positive, that entire street or apartment complex will be locked down to stop the virus from spreading. And with these restrictions being removed and with routine testing being removed, it suddenly became the case that now the virus has spread rapidly through major cities.
