Demi's Story of Cocaine Dependence
Demi turned to cocaine on the set of a film called Blame It On Rio in 1983. She said she did so much cocaine during this period that she nearly and I quote blew a hole through her nostrils. After the divorce she moved to a small LA apartment by herself and continued to use cocaine regularly. As she wrote in Inside Out my appetite for cocaine had escalated into a dependency. Though I would never have called myself an addict that's what I'd become.
