The Importance of Regenerative Agriculture
regenerative farming is based on a non-viable solution to the problems we face. The word has already been so polluted by green wash that it's become almost useless, he says. But there are also some really exciting ways of growing our grain crops or growing our fruits and vegetables which do promise high yields with low impacts. One of the most exciting is perennial grain crops. In nature, large areas covered by annual plants live and die within one year; they generally occur in the weight of a disaster. So if we could produce our grain from several years at a time, you would massively reduce the amount of land needed for agriculture.
