There's a great love triangle with, and it's most unusual and also takes on some political overtones. The sexuality issue is very important and recurs throughout the book in various different ways. I'm glad that you don't think it jumps out at you because I don't want this to become an issue novel. You know, it's not a novel about homosexuality or homophobia. It's a novel which has a main character who is a gay man. And that's a different thing.
