Isn't It an Art Effect of Technology?
In years past, for us to have this kind of mass hysteria experience, it would have taken weeks of reading the newspaper. Now, because of instantaneous access and rapid change of information, we could have a mass hysteria in the span of hours. And so it's, the real culprit, in my inion, is not how we're built, or even the fact that people want to be high jackices. I think it's actually adaptive to have some people out in the third and fourth stander deviation in either direction. But what i would argue is that the real problem is how we participate on these men with these mechanisms.
