How Georgia Overcame Barriers to Voting
I had to sue the Secretary of State of Georgia and other state officials so that Georgia voters could vote on the first Saturday of the runoff. They said we would like for you to be able to vote but our hands are tied as they misinterpreted an old Georgia law. So I decided to untie their hands and I sued them. One. And then the folks who said that their hands were tied showed their hands because they've been appealed the decision by the court that said you can't allow people to vote in a run-off. We had about 100,000 people vote that Saturday, which is around the same margin of my victory. This is how voter suppression works. It's in
