Introduction
In this chapter, Nehemiah 10, the people make a firm covenant and sign it, promising to walk in God's law and observe His commandments. They pledge to not intermarry with the peoples of the land and to refrain from buying goods on the Sabbath or holy days. Additionally, they commit to setting aside a portion of their resources for the service of the house of God and to bring offerings and sacrifices according to the law.
