The Importance of Emotional Spending
Sally Kohn: We tend to constantly monitor the way women spend money. She says that monitoring what a woman spends her money on represents a new sophisticated way of infantilizing women. But when you look at the data, which is my obsession, she says, women are no more emotional than men. And they are not any more likely to spend frivolously compared to men either.
